All newly elected or appointed Condo & mandatory HOA board members are required by Florida law to certify in writing that they have read their association’s governing documents and will faithfully discharge their fiduciary responsibilities to the association’s members or take a state certified course and submit a Certificate of Completion. This workshop meets these certification requirements. Board members will learn what they need to know to be an effective mandatory association board member.
This course is conducted by attorneys specializing in mandatory associations. Topics to be covered include review of Florida State Statues 617/Not for Profit Corporations, 718-Condominiums and 720 Homeowners Associations, board fiduciary responsibilities and other board governing requirements.

ID’s are not required, but please do not bring small children to this training class.
